Design & Production of Novel and Original Educational Material

At Pelargos NATURA, we believe that since humans are both the problem and the solution for every endangered species, the development of effective awareness-raising informational material should be an integral part of every comprehensive Conservation programme we undertake. For this reason, we always strive to develop educational material aimed at the younger generation of every local community where we operate, with the goal of residents becoming the future “guardians” of the endangered wildlife species in their area. Examples of such initiatives include educational publications about the Chameleon of Pylos, distributed to schools in Messinia in collaboration with the educational/ academic authorities of the region; or the equivalent educational publication about the Karpathos Frog. Additionally, we have published the most comprehensive “Identification Guide for all Snakes of Greece”, as well as the most beautiful “Anti-Stress Colouring Book“, featuring original designs of 53 Greek animal species, along with concise presentations of them.
