Educational Programme “Carbon Busters”

With funding from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and in collaboration with the Carbon Busters Club Global and the NGO Initiative for the Promotion of Cultural Heritage, Pelargos NATURA developed and conducted the pilot program “Carbon Busters”, which was implemented by educators and scientists in 16 Greek public primary schools in priority education zones of Eastern and Western Attica. The program featured educational activities inspired by the elements of air, fire, earth and water. The goal was to inform and raise innovative awareness about the significant environmental problem of pollution from fossil fuels.
