Multifaceted Support of ANIMA/ Society for the Protection and Rehabilitation of Wildlife
Pelargos NATURA has been supporting and collaborating with ANIMA for many years, a highly esteemed and substantial Wildlife Protection Association that rehabilitates and reintroduces thousands of animals into the wild each year. In this particular case, we fell a duty to assist in any way we can in the selfless lifelong effort of ANIMA’s founder and driving force, Maria Ganoti, who dedicates herself day and night to animal care. Her work commands our immense respect, inspires us, and clearly deserves much more than just our simple support.
In specific instances, the Attica Zoological Park contributes to this collaboration by providing long-term care for injured animals that ANIMA cannot fully rehabilitate, offering appropriate facilities, veterinary monitoring and treatment, experienced human care, and specialised nutrition.
