Born in 1957 in Athens, he has three adult children. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from UCLA (Los Angeles, 1978) in Economics and Political Science, and an MBA from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business (New York, 1987) in General Management, Marketing and International Business. He worked for over 20 years in advertising: Ted Bates and AC&R in New York, and in Athens at BBDO, ADEL/Saatchi & Saatchi and McCann-Erickson, where he served as Chairman and CEO and won several top international and domestic awards for significant and pioneering communication campaigns. After several years as Communications Consultant to major advertisers while raising his children, he acquired 50% of Attica Zoological Park. He founded Pelargos NATURA NonProfit in 2011, where he still remains Chairman and its main driving force, thereby contributing to the effort to preserve Greece’s unique natural beauty and bringing to life his love and respect for wildlife.

Specifically, she is highly skilled in organizing, implementing and consulting on breeding, rehabilitation and reintegration programmes for bird species, as well as developing environmental educational programs and activities in both protected and non-protected areas.
